Mary Ann Baes

Administrative Professional

An experienced administrative professional with 25 years of service at Solano County Health & Social Services in California, she is known for supporting teams with care, consistency, and reliability. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Services from the University of Phoenix in 2011 and brings a strong foundation of compassion and organizational expertise to her work. 

A lifelong learner and tea enthusiast, she is passionate about personal growth, intentional living, and making a meaningful difference. A proud cat lover and music enthusiast, she strives to be a thoughtful and dependable team member in every environment, both personally and professionally. She joined CEL in September 2025.

Wanda S. Baldwin

Senior Accountant

Wanda is a Senior Accountant at the firm. She joined Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company P.A. in 1998. Wanda performs financial and compliance audits for local governments, Non-Profits, and statutory basis insurance companies. She also provides consultation and preparation of work papers and financial statements for local governments, local authorities, non-profits, and other forms of business. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Wanda is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Tami Brown

Administrative Professional

Tami Brown joined the firm in 2026 and brings decades of experience to her role as Administrative Professional, a career she began in 1984. She supports the team in a wide range of essential functions, including answering calls, bookkeeping, payroll, processing tax returns, and preparing financial statements.

Beyond her work here, Tami serves on the Board of Directors for NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness), contributes to CIT (Crisis Intervention Training) for police, sheriff’s departments, state troopers, EMS, and other first responders, and is an active member of St. Paul’s Community Church, where she serves as Finance Secretary.

In her free time, Tami enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Donna Burke

Senior Accountant

Donna Burke, CPA, joined the firm in 2026 and has more than three decades of experience in public accounting. She began her education at Alamance Community College before attending Elon University, where she earned a 4.0 average. After passing the CPA exam in 1992, she spent her career working with individuals and businesses on a range of accounting and tax matters. 

Her experience includes preparing financial statement compilations and corporate and individual tax returns. She is committed to providing accurate work, clear communication, and reliable support to clients navigating their financial reporting and tax requirements.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and exploring local hiking trails.

Bret Cobb

Tax Accountant / IT Professional

Bret is a Staff Accountant with Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company P.A. He joined the firm in 2000 to manage our technology and network infrastructure and guided the firm’s transition to a completely cloud environment. While serving as our chief technology resource, Bret continued his education and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Bret  serves as a board member and treasurer of Alamance Citizens for a Drug-Free Community and is an active member of Business Networking International.

Bret is an avid tennis player who dabbles in golf. He enjoys boating with his family at the beach, and on most days off, you can usually find him in his shop tinkering with his tractor or making sparks fly with the welder.

Ashley Compton

Tax Manager

Ashley is a Tax Manager who specializes in corporate and individual taxation. After graduating with her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Campbell University, Ashley became a Certified Public Accountant in 2023. She has also been commissioned as a Notary Public since 2006. Ashley is a Class of 2022 Leadership Alamance graduate and remains an active part of the Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce leadership program, which advocates for local community trusteeship.

Angel Duke

Staff Accountant

Angel is a Staff Accountant and proud UNC Greensboro graduate, where she earned her accounting degree in May 2023. She enjoys working with numbers and contributing to a strong financial foundation for the team. Outside of work, you can usually find her spending time with friends, watching movies, or trying out new baking recipes.

Zachary DuPree

Staff Accountant

Zachary is a Staff Accountant at the firm. He joined Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company, P.A. in 2022. Zachary earned his associate’s degree from Guilford Technical Community College and continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to graduating from UNCG, he worked in the restaurant industry for over 5 years. Watching sports is Zachary’s favorite past time, and he is an avid Atlanta Falcons fan.

Heather Fahey

Senior Accountant

Heather is a Senior Accountant with Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company P.A.  She joined the firm in January 2026 having previously worked in public accounting since 2003. Heather specializes in individual and fiduciary taxation. 

She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, volunteering at her daughters’ school, and cheering them on at all of their extracurricular activities.

Peter Fahnrich

Accounting Solutions Team

Peter is an Accounting Solutions Professional at the firm. He joined the firm in 2022. Peter graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His prior experience includes twelve years as the executive assistant at an international nonprofit organization and five years as the office manager of a manufacturing company. His personal hobbies include weightlifting, working on cars, and recording music.

Haley Fogleman

Senior Accountant

Haley is a Senior Accountant at Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company P.A. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University. Haley joined the firm in 2017 as a summer intern. She continued as a summer intern throughout college until she started a full-time position in 2021, where she specializes in business and individual taxation. Haley is currently working towards her CPA license.

Tammy Gilliam

Accounting Solutions Professional

Tammy Gilliam is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She joined the firm in 2026, bringing experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and related write‑up services. Tammy supports clients with accurate recordkeeping and dependable day‑to‑day financial management. 

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys running 5Ks, spending time at the beach, and cheering on UNC Tar Heels basketball. She is married and has two grown children, along with two cats who keep things lively at home.

Ashley Hackett

Senior Accountant

Ashley is a Senior Accountant at Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company, P.A. She attended Elon University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in May 2018. Ashley works closely with our governmental, non-profit, and insurance audit clients. Ashley is a member of the Leadership Alamance Class of 2023. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two boys.

William D. Inabnit, Jr.

Senior Accountant

William D. Inabnit, Jr. is a seasoned accounting professional with more than 45 years of experience in both public accounting and industry. A graduate of UNC–Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration, he has worked extensively with closely held businesses and their owners, providing strategic tax planning and financial guidance.

His career includes 30 years in public accounting and 15 years in the textile industry, where he held leadership roles such as Divisional Controller, Senior Financial Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. William earned his CGMA designation in 2012 and obtained his CPA license in 1981. He joined the firm in 2026 and currently focuses on tax planning and preparation for closely held businesses and high net worth individuals.

Outside of work, William enjoys sailing, hiking, reading, and spending time at the beach. He and his wife of 36 years have two adult sons and a lively yellow Labrador Retriever. He also serves as a soloist and treasurer at his church.

Meghan Ingle

Accounting Solutions Professional

Meghan is an Accounting Solutions Professional with Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company P.A. She assists with payroll, bank reconciliation, and tax deposits. She chose the beautiful Appalachian State University for an English degree. She has worked in customer service for 10 years in various industries before finding her home with us. She enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her loving husband and fur-baby Charlie.

Christina Laney

Senior Accountant

Christina is a dedicated accounting professional with a strong academic background and a passion for financial reporting and assurance. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Christina furthered her education at UNCG, earning a Master of Science in Accounting in August 2021.

A proud member of Beta Gamma Sigma since 2019, Christina has demonstrated her commitment to excellence in her field. She achieved a significant milestone by obtaining her CPA license in February 2024. Christina joined CEL on October 1, 2024, and is an active member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs.

Outside of her professional life, Christina enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Neil, and their two beloved fur babies, Gigi and Piper. Together, they love exploring the outdoors and traveling to new destinations.

Parisa Motee

Staff Accountant

Parisa is a Staff Accountant at Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company, P.A. She graduated summa cum laude with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During her academic career, she was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for business students, and earned several prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, Outstanding Graduate Student Award, Bryan School Academic Excellence Medal, and the Achievement and Leadership Award. 

She is currently pursuing her CPA license, demonstrating her continued dedication to professional development and excellence in the accounting field. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys long hikes, playing video games with friends, and watching horror movies.

Brandi Qualls

Accounting Solutions Manager

Brandi is an Accounting Solutions Manager at the firm. She joined Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company, P.A. in 1998. She ensures the timely and accurate resolution of client needs while holding expertise in auditing and tax services. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Guilford College. She is an active member of Landmark Baptist Church where she also serves as the church treasurer. In her free time, Brandi enjoys crocheting, supporting her daughters at karate tournaments, playing the piano, and live music events with her family.

Sonia Ravenell

Firm Accountant

Sonia is a Firm Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. She has been with Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company P.A. since 2017. She offers clients considerable expertise in establishing initial programs and maintaining business records, as well as preparing year-end statements and completing tax returns. She also manages internal responsibilities of the firm, including Human Resources, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accountant and financial regulations to help keep the firm moving forward and prospering.

Originally from New York, Sonia holds certifications and degrees from multiple colleges and institutions in both New York and North Carolina. She spends her free time with family, learning new things, and addressing life obstacles for those in need.

Donna Ray

Accounting Solutions Professional

Donna is an Accounting Solutions Professional at the firm. She joined Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company P.A. in 2023. She received her Associate Degree in Business Administration & Data Processing at Catawba Valley Community College in 1986. She continued her education at Appalachian State University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Outside of the office, Donna enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and going on walks.

Rosalind Reaves

Senior Accountant

Rosalind Reaves is a dedicated CPA with over 34 years of experience in public accounting. She graduated Cum Laude from Elon College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1991 and earned her CPA license in January 2000. Rosalind joined the firm in 2026. 

Throughout her career, Rosalind has focused on individual and corporate taxation, along with compilation and review engagements. She is known for her thoroughness, professionalism, and commitment to helping clients navigate complex financial matters. Rosalind is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Rosalind has contributed her time and expertise to several local nonprofit boards. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, playing board games, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Nicole Sawyer

Client Success Coordinator

Nicole Sawyer is the Client Success Coordinator at the firm. She joined Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company, P.A. in 2022 and serves our clients by addressing and resolving any issues. She also collaborates with all teams for optimal results and supports the leadership team’s operations, communication, and training. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her free time, Nicole enjoys cheering for the Tar Heels, playing and watching sports with her family, and going to the beach.

Beth Tickle

Accounting Solutions Professional

Beth Tickle joined the firm in 2026, bringing over 40 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll. She studied Business Administration and Accounting at Alamance Community College and has built a reputation for accuracy, reliability, and dedicated client service.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys traveling with her husband and fur baby in their motor home and spending time with family and friends.

Ben York

Staff Accountant

Ben is a staff accountant and auditor at the firm. He joined Cobb Ezekiel Loy & Company P.A. in 2023. Ben primarily works on audits for local governments and non-profits. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from Elon University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Appalachian State University.

Ben grew up in Albemarle, NC but has called Alamance County home since 2008. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, chess, and spending time with family and friends.
